Portraiture and painting faces is what got me into art. My first teacher Maurice Easter was a well known pastel portraitist in Nashua, NH. I was lucky enough to study with him from age 8 to 16. As an adult I've worked with many other wonderful portrait/figurative artists, notably Mark Hayden, Alyssa Monks and Daniel Greene. Most recently I've begun to delve into digital portrait work, studying virtually with Steve Forster of the NY Academy of Art.
The pieces shown here are drawings of family done to explore and learn - the possibilities of digital art & portraiture are endless - I'll continue to share what I'm up to!
